Andreas Nürnberger been elected to the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society Board of Governors as Member at Large for the period 2011-2013. The SMC Society is one of the oldest societies of the IEEE. Its main mission is to promote close cooperation and exchange of technical information on the theory, practice, and interdisciplinary aspects of systems science and engineering, human-machine systems, and cybernetics.
