KickOff-Event des Projektes DiPA-KOM
On 2 June 2025, the kick-off event for the DiPA-KOM project (“Digitalisation of educational work processes: securing the workforce through digital competence and participation”) took place at the FIN. During the event Prof. Dr Andreas Nürnberger and Prof. Dr Kerstin Eschwege gave guests an initial insight into the project’s research, methods and objectives. The focus was also on the symbiosis of topics from computer science and (early childhood) education, as well as the associated prospects and opportunities for research and practice.
In addition to this presentation of the project and the thematic exchange, the kick-off event also provided an opportunity for networking among various practice and cooperation partners from research, administration and politics. In a concluding, open discussion session in the style of a ‘theme café’, those present discussed together the challenges and needs relating to topics such as digitalisation and media literacy in early years settings, and the promotion of participation and democracy education in the early years and beyond.
